Qatar Steps into the Spotlight with the Basketball World Cup 2027 Draw Ceremony

On May 13, 2025, Al Hazm Galleria in Doha will host the official draw ceremony for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 Qualifiers, marking a new chapter in Qatar’s sporting journey.

This landmark event will determine the qualification paths for 80 national teams across four regions:

  • 32 teams from Europe

  • 16 from Africa

  • 16 from Asia (including Oceania)

  • 16 from the Americas
